Recent News @ Viva La Nails – Be Ready for Halloween!
The nail art industry is turning more and more of its attention towards meeting the demands of holiday conscious clients. And this year, more than ever, Halloween is a watchword for the industry. Clients are ready to incorporate their nails directly into their Halloween costumes, and our job as nail artists is to make the magic happen!
So how are we going to do this? Well, it’s going to take a bit of imagination and a lot of artistry on your part. However, I’ll be here to help you with my advice and with a whole new line of Halloween themed products.
First of all, as you’ve probably already noticed, I’ve included three Halloween themed nail art tutorials in this week’s newsletter. I’m hoping that these will work as a great jumping off point from which you can let your imaginations run wild. You can bet that your clients are going to start asking for Halloween designs in the coming weeks. And if they don’t, I’m sure that they will still be grateful to you for giving them the idea!
And, I’m helping you get ready for Halloween by offering new products that will be perfect for holiday designs. First of all, you will definitely want to take a look at our new line of Halloween themed water decals. These decals are the easiest and most effective way to create awesome Halloween designs without learning any difficult new techniques. Our decals are easy to use and they can produce some truly amazing results. (Just see our “Haunted Halloween Night” tutorial if you don’t believe me!)
Oh, and I almost forgot. We now carry a line of neon glitter products, perfect for creating spooky, creepy designs. (although they might be great for a lot of other things as well!).
The important thing however, is that you prepare yourselves for Halloween. You might even want to hang up a few decorations if you work in a salon space, since this will help to inspire your clients to incorporate nail art into their Halloween costumes. In fact, you might want to put a few samples of your Halloween inspired work on display for you clients to get ideas from!
Holidays such as Halloween are the type of things that we need to take advantage of as nail artists and as entrepreneurs. There's nothing more fun (and more profitable) than benefiting from the excitement that is already bubbling up around a widespread cultural event like Halloween. All that we have to do is gently tilt the course of this phenomenon in our favour.
