Golden Delicious

Since spring is now in full force and summer is well on its way,
I thought that it would be fun to start off with a vibrant green coloured nail art design to celebrate the season.

The result will be a bright but natural looking design that goes well with strongly coloured clothing and accessories. I recommend that you use this design mainly in casual or everyday styles. It's not too gaudy, only drawing just the desired amount of attention to itself.

Now let's get started and I'll show you how to bring this design to life!

What You'll Need:
Super Glitter Dust, Rhinestone Stickers, and Nail Glue.
Technique: UV Gel (During Rebalance)
Skill Level: Beginner

Step 1
– As with any professional nail treatment, you should beginning by disinfecting both your own and your client's arms. This ensures that you will be working in a clean, germ free environment, thereby protecting both yourself and your client from unwanted infection. As a preliminary measure, you will also want to file off about 85% of the old overlay, thereby giving the proper shape and texture to the nails, leaving a clean and versatile working surface.

Step 2 – Next, it will be necessary to remove the cuticles from your client’s nails using a professional cuticle remover tool. At this stage, you should also remove the shine from your client's nails using a file of somewhere between 180 – 240 grit.

Step 3 – Now you are ready to apply the bonder to the nails. Perform this operation with care and then allow the nails to cure for about one minute before applying a thin layer of gel to each nail with a nail brush. Allow the gel to cure for a few seconds again.

Step 4 – Using a fresh brush, apply Green Super Glitter Dust and cure for a couple of seconds more. Finally, apply a second layer of gel over the glitter and cure for three full minutes.

Step 5 – Now, refine the surface of the nails by carefully filing off excess gel. Once this has been done, use foam wipes or a dust brush to clean the nail surface, making sure to completely remove all dust residue. The nails should be absolutely clean and dry before proceeding to the next step.

Step 6 – Using an orange stick or cuticle remover, apply a rhinestone sticker to each nail. If you'd like, you may use nail glue in order to improve the adhesion of the stickers. This produces a more refined and precise outcome.

Step 7 – Now, apply a layer of sealant or gloss to provide a shiny finish. Cure under a heat lamp for about one minute.

Step 8 – Use a lightly moist foam wipe to gently remove the excess tacky material from the surface of the nail in a light tapping motion.

Step 9 – Finally, apply some cuticle oil to the cuticle area and massage in briefly.

You're done! You've just created a beautiful nail art design with just two nail art products at your disposal – super glitter dust and rhinestone stickers. This set shouldn't take more than two hours to complete, and with a little practice, you should be able to do it in as little as one!
